Doctor talking:
I was drawn to the field of cardiology since I started medical school. The heart is a fascinating organ that affects every part of the human body. Cardiology is a field that perfectly combines academics and cutting edge technology and the art of medicine. It's a field where we can make a real and tangible difference in patients' lives.

Doctor looking at heart test:
Heart disease is the leading cause of death for  men and women in the U.S. It's important to see a cardiologist if you have heart disease or if you're at risk for heart disease.

Doctor talking:
These risks can include smoking, diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol or a personal or family history of heart disease.

Cardiology text appears on screen:
If you're concerned about your heart it's important to have an evaluation with a cardiologist to help you achieve your healthiest state.

Doctor talking:
I am interested in heart failure, various cardiomyopathies, valvular diseases, women's heart health. There's such a wide breadth of heart disease that general cardiologists can help with. And as a cardiologist, I also focus on prevention of heart disease.

Philosophy of Care text appears on screen:
My philosophy of care is to treat every patient with compassion and care as if they were my own family members.

Doctor talking:
I am passionate about learning and sharing new developments and treatment options with my patients so that they can be informed about every decision that they make about their health. I understand how intimidating and overwhelming having a heart issue can be, and I want to secure trust and confidence from my patients that I will provide them with tools to achieve their goals in health and in life.

Palos Health text appears on screen:
The Palos Health Cardiovascular Institute not only serves the neighborhoods that I grew up in but also provides a sense of teamwork and community within the care teams.

making treatments and procedures available to all patients with heart disease. We are dedicated to your care and I am proud to be part of a group of cardiologists that puts patients first.

Doctor talking:
I enjoy building long-term relationships. I hope to gain and learn as much from my patients as I hope they gain and learn from me. It's an honor to serve the patients in the community that I grew up in.
