Andrius Kudirka, M.D., is a board-certified family practice physician who cares for patients of all ages. He specializes in preventive medicine and the care of chronic conditions, such as hypertension, hyperlipidemia, diabetes, COPD and asthma.
Dr. Kudirka’s approach to medicine is one of communication and prevention. “I’m a big proponent of prevention,” he says. “And the best way to encourage prevention is through open communication. You can take care of minor issues before they become problems, and then work with the patient to create an effective plan for their medical care.”
Dr. Kudirka is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Practice and Master of Public Health. He received his medical degree from Loyola University - Stritch School of Medicine and completed his residency at UIC-Advocate Christ Family Practice.
Of Lithuanian decent, Dr. Kudirka speaks fluent Lithuanian and has a special interest in serving the local community to help them find resources for their healthcare concerns.
