Mona Lal, M.D., is a board-certified psychiatrist who treats a variety of conditions in adults, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, addiction disorders and PTSD. Dr. Lal has a special interest in women’s health.
At the core of Dr. Lal’s philosophy of patient care is the belief that a healthy mind is integral to a healthy body. “To optimize a patient’s level of functioning, it’s very important to hear their concerns and provide them with the necessary psycho-education regarding their illness and treatment options,” Dr. Lal says. “It’s also important to help coordinate and facilitate any necessary treatments with other healthcare providers.”
