Whether you have been newly diagnosed or have been living with diabetes for many years, our team of diabetes experts will support you on your journey, right in the community where you live.

The Palos Diabetes & Metabolism Center in Orland Park, IL, is staffed by an experienced advanced practice nurse, dietitians and certified diabetes educators, who will work closely with you and your primary care physician to develop a personalized treatment plan for you. This will include diabetes education, diet and weight management, as well as access to the latest technology for monitoring your condition, including insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitoring systems.

While diabetes cannot be completely prevented, you can reduce your chances of developing type 2 diabetes with some lifestyle adjustments, including improving diet, increasing physical activity and weight loss.

Our diabetes center offers diabetes and pre-diabetes education classes with our certified diabetes educators that are intended to provide you with the tools to live a healthy and active life. These classes are intended for newly diagnosed patients but also designed to provide ongoing education and support for patients who have been living with diabetes and or pre-diabetes.
